Well, my beautiful little girl is one year old. Her birthday was almost a month ago (how did that happen?!), but here I am, finally blogging it. We had her party a few days before her birthday, so on the actual day we just had Stewart's family over for cake and coffee. At her party I made a strawberry crepe cake, and while it was tasty, it wasn't
cake. So on the day of her birthday I made my naturally-sweetened chocolate quinoa cake, which she
loved.
I gave Halle a pretty big piece of cake, because I remembered Micah being pretty uninterested in his first birthday cake.
It turns out, Halle is not like her brother. Once she got going, she devoured it!
