Speaking of Jess at Making Home, I'd like to point out how great her blog is. You can read her welcome page here, which explains a bit more about who she is, and what she writes about.
It looks like she isn't blogging very frequently right now, but her site is still one I visit often. She's been blogging for years and her archives are full of articles she's written on a variety of topics - especially motherhood, marriage, parenting, homeschooling, biblical womanhood, etc. Often when I'm looking for advice on a topic, I check out her archives and see what she has to say.
She also has a section on her sidebar titled "Making Home Highlights". It's a great place to find some of the her favourite, most-read articles. Just yesterday I read her article "Prepare Now for Future Suffering" (also titled "'Choosing' to say 'Blessed be the Name of the Lord'").

Blogs of Note: girltalk
If you don't already read the girltalk blog, you should. Carolyn Mahaney and her three daughters, Nicole, Janelle, and Kristin, blog together about biblical femininity, and its practical outworkings.
I'm loving their current feature - 52home. Each day they post a new photo of their everyday lives. They write, "Our hope is that you’ll see your own ordinary, yet glorious life in these pictures. That you’ll glimpse the faithfulness of God that undergirds his faithful ones. That you’ll see reflections of the eternal in the everyday."

Blogs of Note: Organic Girl
Thanks to my friend Erin, I just came across the Organic Girl blog.
Whether or not you are interested in everything organic, you will love this blog. I can say that with certainty because it is FULL of giveaways! I just spent way too long on her blog, entering almost every giveaway (she currently has about 20 giveaways that you can enter!).
The stuff that she reviews and gives away are a wide variety of products for babies, kids, and moms. There are lots of organic products (and otherwise) from lots of local shops from all across Canada that feature their goods. Even if you don’t win anything, you just might find a good local baby shop in your area.
