Last night our friends brought over a gift for Micah, just-because: a new plastic tool set. Micah was asleep when they came last night, and you should have seen the look on his face this morning!! When I came into the living room he was just standing there, staring at the big box of tools. So happy and excited when I told him they were for him. He's been happily playing ever since.
Altogether, my two-year-old son now has:
-4 hammers
-4 screwdrivers
-3 hand saws
-3 wrenches
-2 cordless drills
-2 tape measures
-2 pairs of pliers
-2 tool belts
-1 allen wrench
-1 c-clamp
-1 quick square
-1 hand planer
-1 jigsaw
-countless nuts, bolts, and nails
Amazingly, all that we have bought for him ourselves is one hammer. The rest has been gifted to him!
Now if only these were real tools that Stew could take to work... :)
