she's so tiny

...but she gained 50 grams today, bringing her up to 2000 grams or 4lbs 6oz, which is nearly her birth weight.  And today she ate like a champion!  We talked with the doctor and took her off her scheduled feeds (every three hours), and are letting her feed on demand as of this morning.  She amazed us all and instead of eating less often, which we expected, she ate more often.  And larger quantities!  There is a minimum amount she needs to eat in a 12 hour period, and after about 7 hours she had already met the requirement.  That's my girl!!  :)
