Yesterday we had my immediate family over for a BBQ -- it was the first time we had all been together since the two babies were born. And I think only the third time we'd all been together since we arrived home from Africa two and a half months ago. Last night we also surprised Stewart with a birthday cake and presents to celebrate his birthday ten days early. Such a great evening.

In other news, I took Halle to the pediatrician yesterday. He was so pleased to hear that even after nine days in the NICU she is now exclusively breastfeeding. And that she weighs 4lbs 12oz, which is a gain of 5oz since leaving the hospital on Tuesday! Maybe she'll catch up to Jeremy eventually?!
