Avocado Time

I was planning on holding off until Micah's 6 month birthday (the 23rd) to give him solids, but it was becoming increasingly obvious that he was very ready for solids NOW. In the past few days he's gone from intently watching us when we eat, to getting visibly upset when he sees us eat! He loves it when I put the empty baby spoon in his mouth, and he seems to be always hungry, no matter how much he nursed. So I decided not to hold him off any longer.

I started him on mashed, ripe, organic avocado. Yum! He seemed to enjoy it for the most part. Of course there were funny faces, but he didn't spit it out!
